CALA MILLOR
Cala Millor is a very large tourist centre in the municipality of Son Servera. Its main attraction is the extensive beach of fine white sand and its crystal clear waters, occupying much of the bay, accompanied by a promenade. This beach has been awarded 27 times with the Blue Flag of the European Community, which proves that it meets the highest standards of quality, services and environmental protection. It is a shallow and safe beach, suitable for disabled people. Part of the coast has been declared a Nature Reserve.
Before the tourist boom, Cala Millor was characterized by a large beach accompanied by a few low houses, and in which there were sand dunes and a pine grove typical of the Mallorcan coastal area. From the 1960s onwards, tourism began to grow and the first hotels were built, and to this day Cala Millor has become a large tourist centre with a large number of accommodation options, mostly located on the seafront.
